I was the caregiver for my wonderful Nana the last 3 years of her life. I adored her.

She was a clinical child psychologist and my first great mentor.

I never wanted to admit dementia was happening to her. It was painful to watch.

The best book anyone ever referred me to is called “The 36 hour day”. Thank goodness I was told about it.

I empathize deeply with your story. Dementia is the hardest saddest thing when it strikes someone you love dearly.
