Not Good Enough

Don’t tell me that this work I do
This service I provide
This life I lead
is not good enough for me

Don’t tell me I should want for more
I deserve more
And more and more and more
Because we all know how that envy story ends
How that greed story ends
That capitalist facade ends
That usury ends
That planetary abuse ends
How that illusion, that world of lacking ends
Don’t tell me you know what I think, I know, I feel
Don’t tell me you understand
I just might believe you.
