It was in the mid 70’s. I was the editor of my college newspaper.

I also was the organizer of our community college’s first Earth Day Celebration.

I can tell you — it was super challenging. Everyone was against me. No one saw the need or the vision.

In some ways, I feel like we made a lot of progress since then, but in other ways, none at all.
