This group of very wise elders are one of the few groups untouched by colonization in the world. The elders spend their first 7 years of life in a cave. It promotes a “deep listening” to the mother earth.

Our ideas of what it would be like, or was like to be a cave man, or woman, might also be influenced by whatever someone told us about that. I came away with a deep respect for what it must be like to live in a cave.
